Science Teacher

Thetford Academy is recruiting top-notch teacher candidates to apply for an opening in our science department. Key criteria include expertise in the biological sciences and experience leading a laboratory-based science classroom. As a 7-12 school, we welcome backgrounds in both the middle grades and high school levels. In addition to their science classes, the teacher will serve as a grade-level advisor to a group of 10-12 advisees. This is a full-time faculty position to begin August 2025. 

Accounts Payable Coordinator / Staff Accountant

Thetford Academy seeks a skilled, detailed-oriented finance professional to join the TA Business Office. Responsibilities include oversight of accounts payable and accounts receivable, and overall support of workflow for the business office. The position reports to the Director of Finance. This is a part-time, year-round staff position, with a competitive salary of approximately $21-$30 per hour and benefits package. Part-time FTE negotiable, 24-30 hours per week. Start date between June 1-20, 2025 (flexible). 

School Garden Coordinator

Thetford Academy seeks an enthusiastic, hands-on gardener/educator to become its next School Garden Coordinator. The Coordinator manages the school’s gardens, promotes curriculum integration, supports a developing farm-to-school program, and oversees the campus compost system. This position provides for a flexible schedule to support seasonal priorities, classroom collaborations, and school-wide programming. This is a half-time, year-round staff position, with a competitive salary of approximately $21-$30 per hour and strong benefits package. Start date of May 1, 2025 (flexible). Substitute Teachers (Seasonal/Part-time)

Thetford Academy seeks to expand our substitute teacher roster for the 2024-25 school year and invites interested candidates to apply. We offer a rate of $100/day.

Coaches (Seasonal/Part-time)

Thetford Academy is recruiting the following coaching staff for the athletics program:
