Immediate Openings

Study Center Coordinator & In-House Substitute:

Thetford Academy seeks an additional support staff member for the second half of the 2020-2021 school year. Responsibilities include tutoring students, providing classroom coverage for teacher absences, coordinating study halls, and being a flexible team member to help as needed during this unique Covid school year. Position is available as full time and also could be part-time, depending on candidate availability. This is a temporary position that ends in mid-June. Hire date: Goal of March 15, 2021.

Long-Term Substitute Nurse:

Thetford Academy is hiring an interim school nurse for March-June 2021. This is a temporary full-time position for the remainder of the school year; flexibility available if ideal candidate prefers part-time schedule. Hire date: Goal of March 15, 2021.

Middle School Baseball Coach:

Thetford Academy is looking to find an energetic person that enjoys working with students. This is a seasonal stipend position with a hire date of April 5th, 2021. Those interested in this position should email Blendon.Salls@thet.net

Anticipated Openings for 2021-22:

Special Educator:

Thetford Academy expects to be hiring one or more teaching positions in its special education department, with a start date of August 2021. Join a strong team of special educators and paraprofessionals that work closely together to support students’ academic growth and success and to prepare them for life beyond high school. TA’s special education department is rooted in inclusion practices. Special educators serve as case managers for students and families, provide individual and small group academic support, and collaborate closely with their regular education colleagues. Our department’s primary goals: to foster independence and a strong sense of self for all of our students on campus.
