Openings for 2024-25:

Admissions & Enrollment Manager

Thetford Academy seeks an engaged, strategic professional to join the TA team in the role of Admissions & Enrollment Manager. The Admissions & Enrollment Manager leads student and family recruitment efforts and oversees the enrollment process for the school. The person engages external audiences to position Thetford Academy as an exemplary secondary school option in the Upper Valley community. This is a year-round hourly position, with a salary range from a starting level of $20.25/hour to $30/hour and higher, depending on experience and education level. We are looking for the right candidate to join the TA team in this key role in a 30-40 hour per week capacity.

Special Education Paraprofessional

Thetford Academy is recruiting qualified candidates for a full-time paraprofessional role in the special education department for the 2024-25 school year. Paraprofessionals collaborate with special educators in supporting students with individualized education plans to be successful in their courses and overall academic growth. Settings for the paraprofessional position include general education classrooms and the learning center. Experience working with youth in a school, camp, or similar setting is a plus. Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required. Strong candidates will identify with some or all of the following descriptors: patient, self-starter, solution-oriented, confident, flexible, adaptable, compassionate, and joyful. The paraprofessional role is a full-time staff position on a school-year calendar. Hourly rates range from starting level of $17.75/hour to $26/hour and higher, depending on experience and education level.

Study Center Coordinator

Thetford Academy seeks a half-time study center coordinator for the 2024-25 school year. This position is responsible for leading a tutorial study hall type of setting during the school day. This is a staff position on a school-year calendar. Experience working with youth in a school, camp, or similar setting a plus. Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

Substitute Teachers (Seasonal/Part-time)

Thetford Academy seeks to expand our substitute teacher roster for the 2024-25 school year and invites interested candidates to apply. We offer a rate of $100/day.

Coaches (Seasonal/Part-time)

Thetford Academy is recruiting the following coaching staff for the athletics program:

  • Fall 2024 Season: JV Boys Soccer Coach and Girls Varsity Assistant Soccer Coach
  • Winter 24-25 Season: Varsity Girls Basketball Head Coach
  • Spring 2025: Varsity Baseball Coach
