Openings for 2024-25:

Director of Student Support Services

Thetford Academy seeks a dynamic leader with deep experience in the field of special education to become our next Director of Student Support Services. This position plays a key role in fulfilling the mission of Thetford Academy, helping to ensure that each student is supported in their unique learning style to reach their potential. The Director leads a team of special educators and paraprofessionals to provide direct services for students, and works across departments providing guidance to all faculty around accommodations and interventions to meet student needs. Responsibilities include leadership of special education and section 504 programs, partnerships with sending schools and LEA representatives, professional development, legal compliance and accreditation, budgeting and billing, close collaboration with colleagues, family outreach, and more. The Director of Student Support Services is a full-time administrator position and reports to the Head of School. Application deadline of March 22, 2024; start date of July 1, 2024.

Physical Education & Health Teacher

Thetford Academy is seeking outstanding candidates to apply for an opening in the physical education department for the 2024-25 school year and beyond. The position includes both middle school and high school classes, grades 7-12. This is a 1.0 FTE faculty position. Start date is approximately August 20, 2024.

Mathematics Teacher (One-Year Contract)

Thetford Academy seeks a math teacher to fill a 1 year leave of absence. This is a temporary position for the 2024-25 school year. Thetford Academy is a 7-12 school and strong candidates will bring experience at the middle school and high school levels and with a diversity of math learners. Anticipated course content for this position includes a range of levels, including pre-algebra, algebra, and algebra 2. Start date is approximately August 20, 2024.

Thetford Academy seeks to expand our substitute teacher roster for the 2023-24 school year and invites interested candidates to apply. We offer a competitive rate of $100/day.

Coaches (Seasonal/Part-time)

Thetford Academy is recruiting the following coaching staff for the athletics program:
