Letter to Seniors: John Luce
May 15, 2020
Dear Thetford Academy Class of 2020,
Congratulations on finishing your senior year under such trying circumstances. And you thought climbing Moosilauke in September was tough?! Your class will go down in history as one which overcame huge obstacles.
I also want to thank you for welcoming me and my family to TA. I left the big city of Burlington to come to little ol’ Thetford, and every day over the past two years, when I came to school and saw your spirit and enthusiasm, I knew I was in the right place. Even though I didn’t have most of you in class, I still feel like we have the “TA Connection”. A special thanks to my advisees and frequent visitors to the couches in the Chorus Mansion. Hanging out (not the google kind) with you was fun, as was working with you to produce our winning Founders Day skits.
Even though it’s been a rough spring, your energy and enthusiasm continue to inspire us all.
Best wishes,
Mr. Luce, Class of 1983
