Safety, Spectating, and Panther Basketball

With basketball season in full swing, TA’s administrators have been fielding a lot of questions about our winter sports guidance. Specifically, with Covid restrictions, how can spectators keep up with and cheer on their favorite Panther athletes?

At this time, Thetford Academy is welcoming limited numbers of spectators into the Vaughan Alumni Gymnasium for home games. Each team member will be allowed up to four family members to attend each game. Guests must sign in upon arrival. Please also note that TA’s 100% indoor masking policy will also apply and all players and spectators will be required to wear masks.

We respectfully request that all other fans help our school community stay safe and Covid-free by staying home and streaming the games online. All home games will be carried by NFHS, a streaming service for high school sports. An account is required to use the service.

For more detailed information about winter athletics at TA, please review our guidance document, which will be kept up to date with any changes in policy or protocol. Thank you in advance for helping us keep our campus safe throughout the winter season.
