It’s Woods Trail Time Again!

The 2019 Woods Trail Run marks the 29th year of TA’s renowned cross country event. On Saturday, Oct. 5, Thetford Academy’s campus will transform into a vibrant, buzzing event space and host nearly 2,000 people— including runners, coaches, families, and supporters.

Over 100 community volunteers help to execute the event every year, ensuring that it’s a seamless success for the high school cross country teams who travel from all over New England and beyond to attend. The race showcases TA’s beautiful, but challenging, Dan Grossman Woods Trail and our 295-acre forested campus.

Whether you’re a runner, a volunteer, a spectator, or a coach, the Woods Trail Run is always a memorable event worth watching. You can count on TA’s cross country runners for great performances, the Thetford Academy Alumni Association for good food and drink, and you’ll definitely want to pick up the limited edition Woods Trail t-shirt from Big Hed Designs.

If you’re interested in volunteering at the Woods Trail Run, or the State Championship Meet (Oct. 26), contact Meet Director Blendon Salls or email [email protected].
