TOP Summer Leadership Programs Now Accepting Registrations

The Thetford Outdoor Program has an exciting slate of adventures planned for the summer. This year, the TOP Summer Leadership program includes a variety of new outdoor opportunities alongside favorites from past years.

Students can canoe camp on the Connecticut River paddle trail, experience rock-climbing in Rumney, NH, or join the TA Trail Crew. In the new GLOW (Girls, Ladies, or Whoever) hybrid backpacking and canoe trip, open to all students who identify as girls, young ladies, or women always or sometimes, students will develop leadership skills, explore the role of gender in the outdoors, and learn about the natural world while exploring forest and river ecosystems.

TA’s advanced canoers are heading to Quebec for a canoe camping wilderness adventure in the La Vérendre natural preserve (Note: this trip is full). TOP will end the summer with a middle school Garden Camp with time on campus in TA’s school garden and at surrounding farms.

For students who enjoy TOP programs and are ready to take on more of a direct leadership role, internships are also available.

Space is limited in the programs, so register now to secure your spot. Join us for an adventure this summer!
