Do You Have What it Takes To Be a Founders’ Day Judge?

Thetford Academy’s birthday is coming up and we’re getting ready to celebrate! Founders’ Day this year will be held on February 3, 2023, with the theme of “TA Departments” – we can only imagine what our students will come up with, but we know it’s going to be great.

This year, we’re hoping to add a few alumni to our judges panel. Do you think you have what it takes? For example, do you know the difference between a mural and a banner? What makes a great ice sculpture? Is it important that the class skit include references to Steve Neiderhauser or Casey Huling? Should the float float?

There is a lot to consider and a lot on the line for our competitors. Bragging rights are important! Judging will take place in two shifts: Thursday, February 2, 2023 from 3:00-3:30 p.m. and Friday, February 3, 2023 from 8:15 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. All judges are welcome and invited to join the all-school Founders’ Day banquet after the competitions are completed on Friday.

If you want to be a Founders’ Day judge, please fill out this very short questionnaire and tell us why you’re the best candidate for the job!
