TA Represents at New Balance National High School Indoor Track Championships

TA’s indoor track program was well-represented at the New Balance National High School Championships last weekend in Boston. Uly Junker had qualified in three separate events (the long jump, the 200 and the sprint medley relay), but sustained an injury shortly before the events began.

Nevertheless, the sprint medley team of Evan Rich ’25, Sebastian Pedrizet ’27 (who saved the day by driving down to Boston on a moment’s notice to fill Uly’s spot), Luke Miller ’25 and Brady Sloop ’25 ran a tremendous race in a time that was faster than dozens of other significantly larger schools.

Meanwhile, Ava Hayden ’25 ended her remarkable indoor track career by running a sensational race in the mile.

Congratulations, Panthers!
