Head of School Weekly Email: Sharing Appreciation

Dear TA Families,

It’s always a good time to share appreciation with the educators in our lives. But this week seems like an especially good one to tee up the official Teacher Appreciation Week that happens in May.

With the One Act students in St. Albans last weekend, the 8th graders in Montreal this week, and the high school trip off to Paris yesterday, we’ve had a few big reminders lately of the ways that teachers go above and beyond to provide amazing opportunities for our students. Thank you, teachers/advisors/chaperones, for making these three recent experiences possible!

  • One Act trip: Jeff Seabaugh
  • 8th grade trip: Kristen Downey, Kathy Hooke, Casey Huling, Becky Sarazin, Kara Toms, Mark Weigel
  • Europe trip: Kristen Downey, Karen Heinzmann

Teacher Appreciation Week is not until May 5-9, but you can start celebrating early by filling out this form to recognize anyone who works at Thetford Academy. We will create a nicely formatted print copy of each message and share it with individuals during the week of May 5. (Also, after spring break, please keep an eye out for the parent volunteer sign-up sheet to help provide lunches and treats for Teacher Appreciation Week!)

Teacher Appreciations Form for TA Educators

As we head into spring break, we wish everyone a good week of rest and recreation. And for those celebrating the final days of Passover or Easter, we wish you cherished time with family this holiday weekend.
