Girls Conclude Basketball Season, Boys Playoff Run Continues

The girls’ varsity basketball team concluded their season (5-16) last Wednesday in the first-round playoff game against the #3 seeded Oxbow High School. The team fought hard throughout the game, narrowing the deficit to just five points with three minutes remaining. All of the players showed remarkable growth and improvement over the course of the season. Coach Cook is looking forward to building on this progress next year.

They will begin their own playoff run tonight with the #6 seeded Panthers hosting #11 seed BFA-Fairfax at home. The game tips off at 7:00 p.m., with doors opening to the community at 6:30 p.m. Ticket prices are set by the Vermont Principals’ Association (VPA): Adults – $10; School-Aged Students and Seniors – $5.
