Girls Win Season Finale in OT Thriller

The TA varsity girls completed their season in spectacular fashion, defeating U-32 3-2 on a Namya Benjamin shot three minutes into overtime, with Casey MacVeagh getting the assist. The 11-1-1 Panthers earned the top seed for the VPA Division III playoffs, with pairings to be announced tomorrow. 

The Panthers dominated the first half, with goals by Kiana Johnson and Casey, each assisting the other on her goal. Two second half goals by U-32 forced the overtime. Keeper Emma Berard earned six saves.

Three seniors were recognized prior to the girls’ Senior Game:  Abby Berard, Lily Brown, and Kiana Johnson.
