Summer Applications Now Open: 2019 Governor’s Institutes of Vermont

Grades 9-11:  Applications are online at www.giv.org for the 2019 Governor’s Institutes of Vermont.  The Governors Institutes are intensive, week-long educational experiences held during the summer on select Vermont college campuses. 

GIV is for any 9th – 11th grader with a passion for or particular interest in arts, engineering, current issues and activism, math, science, technology, or entrepreneurship. 

Students who enjoy GIV tend to have a strong intellectual or artistic curiosity, possess academic skills equal to or above their grade level, and function well in a highly independent learning environment.

Application materials are available online at www.giv.org and should be completed by the deadline of March 21.  For questions and/or a pamphlet, see Mark Pichette in the Counseling Office.
