Scott Ellis Takes On Dream Job at Aloha

We at TA are going have to learn how to share Scott Ellis. As many have heard by now, Scott was recently hired by the Aloha Foundation to be the director of the Ohana Family Camp, starting with this summer’s season. This is a very exciting career move for Scott – it truly is his life-long dream job.

Scott will retain his faculty position at Thetford Academy during the school year, and continue to teach TA’s special interdisciplinary environmental studies and outdoor education course that he launched four years ago.

Scott came to TA with the charge of making a reality out of the awesome vision of a revitalized outdoor learning program, and he has fulfilled that role with gusto and skill over the past four years. Fortunately, with the different school-year and summertime focus of the two jobs, Scott will be able to be involved at both Aloha and TA.
