Head of School Weekly Email: The Final Stretch!

Dear TA Families & Students,

We want to be sure everyone understands next week’s schedule. We’ve been sharing it over the past few weeks, so hopefully there are no surprises. Please review it as a family and let us know if you have any questions. The big reminder for Monday: School is fully remote on Monday, so that all classes can meet and we are following our normal Wednesday bell schedule, 9:00 a.m. – 1:50 p.m.

Click here for the schedule for the week of June 7-11

There’s lots of activity in and around TA this weekend and all are invited:

  • The drama program is performing ‘Tracks’, a one-act play at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday evenings at the timberframe classroom, seating on the Barrett fields to the south. Check out this news post on the TA website.
  • The varsity baseball team plays the quarterfinals game against Windsor at 3 p.m. on Saturday at TA. (Photo credit: Deb Metcalf via Facebook)
  • The 2nd annual car parade to honor the seniors is on Sunday evening. Start time of 5:30pm at TA. Line the route with friends and family to cheer on the Class of 2021. Route details are here.

A couple of important details to finish out the year:

  • Laptop returns are taking place Tues-Fri next week. Please complete this quick form for more details and to help us with tracking computers.
  • Final call for yearbook orders. Hardcover editions are $35 and softcover are $25. The online ordering link is thetfordacademy.picaboo.com.

And, last but not least, congratulations to our girls’ and boys’ track teams – Division III state champions! Check out our website news post for more details and links to the awesome Valley News write-ups.

We are in the final stretch!
