Head of School Weekly Email: Student Appreciation Week, Booster Clinics & Dino Dance

Dear TA Families,

We just wrapped up a festive week at school, with special activities, outfits, treats, conveyances, raffle prizes, appreciation cards, and more. We hope that every student enjoyed one (or many!) aspects of the week – it sure seemed that way on campus. Big thanks to the TA employees who coordinated our annual student appreciation week tradition this spring. It was a blast!

The Class of 2022 is hosting a dance for the whole school this evening, 7:30-9:30pm. The dance will take place outdoors under the Anderson tents. It’s a fundraiser to support the seniors, with $5 admission and dino nuggets for sale. All are welcome, grades 7 through 12.

Covid vaccination and booster clinics are happening in our community tomorrow, Saturday, May 14 at Thetford Elementary School (11:30am-2pm) and Waits River Valley School (8am-1pm). More details are available in this week’s health office update.

Save the dates & all are invited!

  • TA Drama puts on ‘Hello, Dolly’ next Friday and Saturday, May 20-21. Performances will take place in the MJR Theater. No reservations will be required. Covid protocols will likely require audience masking though; look for final details next week.
  • The annual Spring Concert & Arts Night will return Thursday, May 26, 5:30-7:30pm. All of the arts classes and programs will have displays, exhibits, demos and performances.

Stay cool. Have a great weekend.

Carrie Brennan, Head of School
