Reminder – Don’t Miss This Weekend at TA!

Thetford Academy is making the most of this last weekend before the Thanksgiving holiday.

The TA Drama Department, under the leadership of new performing arts faculty Jeff Seabaugh, will perform the Tony Award-winning play Peter and the Starcatcher on both Friday and Saturday evenings starting at 7:00 p.m. A swashbuckling, family-friendly story of how an unhappy orphan becomes Peter Pan and a flamboyant pirate becomes Captain Hook, Peter and the Starcatcher is a highly theatrical adaptation of Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson’s best-selling novels. Tickets are $5 for students, $10 for adults and will be available at the door.

On Saturday, the Thetford Academy Alumni Association is bringing back its popular holiday craft bazaar. The fair will be hosted in TA’s Anderson building and feature hand-crafted items from some of the Upper Valley’s finest artisans, as well as free horse-drawn carriage rides, and a variety of hot food and baked goods provided by the senior class and the girls’ basketball team. The bazaar will be open from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Coming up: Alumni Basketball is back! All alumni are welcome to play, event is open to the public.
