TA Athletes Earn All State, All League Honors

The Vermont Soccer Coaches Association recently named senior Jacob Gilman to its All State team for Division III. During the course of the season, Gilman earned 14 goals to lead the Panthers to the Division III quarterfinals. Gilman also was recognized in the Capital Division and named to the First Team; teammates Boone Fahey and Justin Robinson were named to the Capital Division’s Second Team. On the girls side, Madi Mousley and Hannah Williams were named to the Capital Division’s First Team, joined by Mason Fahey on the Second Team, and Heidi Hewes with an honorable mention.

In cross country, runners Ben Mattern, Brady Sloop, Madelyn Durkee, and Ava Hayden were selected as Southern Vermont League All Stars for their outstanding performances in the 2022 season. Madelyn also earned a spot in the New Englands Cross Country Championships in North Scituate, RI on November 12. She earned 131st place out of 235 with a time of 21:25.
