Head of School Weekly Email: Track & Field Wins Big, Sophomores Present, and the Class of 2023 Prepares

Dear TA Families,

The culminating experiences of the school year continued this week. I enjoyed the end of my day today spending time with our youngest and oldest students – first, practicing with the senior class as they prepare for the baccalaureate event on Sunday; and then, watching the middle school instrumental band class show off their musicianship with a small performance for peers and teachers. I started my day with our students right in the middle of the pack – our 10th graders presenting their sophomore anthologies and reading from original work, published authors, and the work of their classmates. Two students even took the extra risk on stage of singing their chosen pieces! Students in all grades are busy finalizing projects, revising work, and prepping for next week..

Congratulations, State Champs!

The boys and girls track teams had a great day in Manchester, VT yesterday (June 1) at the State Meet, both bringing home trophies. The boys team claimed the top spot for a fourth consecutive year! And the girls team was the Division III runner-up. Congratulations, track and field athletes!
