Summer Tuesdays at TA: Fun Runs, Community Garden, and Films!

This summer, Tuesdays at TA will be full of fun for everyone! TA’s traditional Tuesday Fun Runs have already begun (as of June 20), inviting all athletes and community members to participate in a 5K (or half-course) fun run on the Dan Grossman Woods Trail. Hosted by TA coaches Joe Deffner and Emily Silver, summer Tuesday Fun Runs are a great way to get outside and get active with family and community. Runs start at 6 p.m. each week.
From July 11 – August 15, TA school garden coordinator Ehrin Lingeman will host “Tuesdays in the Garden.” From 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. each Tuesday, community members are invited to join Ehrin in TA’s school garden for a few hours of volunteer work and community building. Each work session will end with a potluck meal, As the season progresses, gardeners can also expect to bring home some delicious produce that they helped to grow!
Finally, don’t miss the Thetford Arthouse Cinema‘s lineup this summer. TAC’s summer session begins on July 18 and will run Tuesdays and Fridays at 7:00 p.m. until August 19. Join TAC in Thetford Academy’s Martha Jane Rich Theater for a unique opportunity to view and discuss arthouse and repertory films right here in Thetford.
