New Year, New Tools: TA Adopts New Student Information System

With the start of each new school year, there are always exciting changes. Students will meet new teachers, make new friends, and – most importantly – learn new things!

In addition to these exciting new experiences, some important changes also happen behind the scenes. This year we are transitioning from Web2School to a new software system, called Alma, to help us better manage school, classroom, and student information.

Alma is a secure, easy-to-use online system that brings important school information and tools together in one place. We expect this to save school leaders and teachers time and make it easier to get a complete view of what’s happening with each student’s learning. Additionally, Alma promises to be a more modern, intuitive, and user-friendly experience for everyone – students, parents, and school staff.

TA’s unique Alma log-in page is https://thetfordacademy.getalma.com. Parents and students will receive account access and log-in details this week.

Alma offers a parent and student dashboard to help everyone stay informed and on track with student learning. Alma provides access to:

  • School Calendar
  • Staff Directory
  • Class Rosters
  • Attendance History
  • Assignments
  • Grades
  • Activities
  • File Cabinet Submissions
  • Fees
  • Student ID information
  • …and more

Parents who have more than one student enrolled at TA can access each student’s information with a single login.
