Run the 5K Asa Burton Bicentennial Blitz at TA: Oct. 13

On Saturday, Oct. 13, at 10 a.m., join Thetford Academy for a one-of-a-kind super fun Fun Run/Walk with a TWIST! Whether you’re a runner, a history buff, or both, this free event will not disappoint.
Named for TA’s founder, Asa Burton, the Bicentennial Blitz will follow TA’s iconic Dan Grossman Woods Trail on a 5K course through the trees at the peak of foliage season in Vermont. Runners and walkers will need to pay attention, though, because there is a history lesson to be learned along the way!
Runners who complete the race will ALSO have to complete a TA history quiz at the end – and answers WILL affect final race times. Prizes will be awarded and every finisher gets a t-shirt. For more information, email race organizer Charlie Buttrey. Hope to see you there!
