Head of School Weekly Email: On the Eve of February Break

Dear TA Families,

Next week will be a relatively quiet one here at TA, with no classes and the offices closed. However, there is still lots happening in and around our campus and community in the coming days. Here are a few highlights …

Seven athletes will represent TA in the races at Burke, coming up right after break: Ben Acker, Harley Ransom, Uly Junker-Boyce, Liam Patterson, Logan Wurtz, Isaac Yukica, Oliver Yukica.

Looking back at this week …

  • Congratulations to Leah Crossett ’27, this year’s middle school spelling bee champ.
  • And kudos to the Poetry Out Loud competitors, with a special shout out to winner Mary Bosco ’24 and runner up Grace Solsaa ”24.

Looking ahead to the return to school …

  • Please be sure to review the Feb. 17 health update in detail. Students each brought home a rapid test kit yesterday, which we encourage families to use in the days leading up to the return to school.
  • A reminder that the half-day in March was moved from March 2 to March 9, to align with the new dates for Founders’ Day and Founders’ Day prep activities (March 9-11).

Happy Friday & February Break!
