Congratulations, Thetford Academy Class of 2025!

Thetford Academy was proud to celebrate the achievements of the exceptional Class of 2025 at the school’s 206th commencement ceremony on Friday. It was a cool and clear evening and in their caps and gowns, graduates shared the risers on the lawn of the White Building. They were surrounded by hundreds of their family, friends, and community members – and backed by the stunning mountain views of Thetford Hill.
During the student-led event, graduates reflected – with speeches and poetry – on the value of friendship and community, of appreciating mentors and teachers, and of learning to love yourself first. The stage band added a little jazz to the ceremony, Ava Hayden performed a beautiful cover of Fleetwood Mac’s classic “Landslide,” and Halogenica, a student choral ensemble, sang a joyful rendition of Ella Fitzgerald’s “Blue Skies,”
Earlier in the day, during Class Day, Thetford Academy issued annual scholarships and awards to recognize academic achievement, personal growth, and more.
