TA Alumni, Did you play basketball while you were at TA? Would you put on the Panther uniform again for old times sake? Will you be in Thetford for Thanksgiving? If you said yes to any of these questions, then WE NEED YOU! We will be hosting the 1st annual TA Alumni Basketball event on Saturday, Nov. 25 (the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend) and we want you to join us. Thetford Academy robotics teams 4886B and 4886C travelled to North Conway, NH, on Saturday, Nov. 4, to face 29 other teams from eight  schools. Team 4886C, with senior Clay Goodling (who joined our team last spring) and third year competitor, 9th grader Alex Holzer, finished first in the qualifying rounds with the best record of the day; Clay and Alex were team captains and first seed in the elimination rounds. Team 4886B, with 8th grader Tate Whiteberg and 7th grader Isaiah Kol finished in the top ten and were team captains for the fifth seed out of the eight alliances moving forward...

A Parent Orientation for OWL (Our Whole Lives) will take place on Sunday, Nov. 5, from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at the Thetford Hill Church. Dec. 2 Update:   Poinsettias will be delivered on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 8-9. If you purchased one (or several) to support TA panthers traveling to France this April, stop by the Art Room on Friday from 3 to 7 p.m., or Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m., to pick yours up. Merci! The leaves have all fallen and snow is right around the corner. Cross country skiing is a great way to get outside in the winter, have fun, and get some excellent exercise. Not to mention, we have an amazing trail right in our back yard and lots of other great trails in the immediate area. This will be a noncompetitive group that will focus on skiing technique, outdoor exploration, and fitness.
