Senior Sam Kidder was named November Student of the Month during assembly on Wednesday, Nov. 29.  As she presented the award, math teacher Dawn Deibler shared the following remarks: We are often asked what makes a Student of the Month.  The truth is there is no algorithm or formula.  We look for students who embody what it means to be a Panther. November’s student of the month is an ideal candidate.  He may not always complete his assignments, but he never tells you that the dog ate his homework!  He is honest and caring.  He brings a smile to the face...

The Thetford Ski Sale to benefit the local ski program is Sunday, Dec. 3, from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the Thetford Elementary School Gym. Vermont Ski Co. will be there with demo/new alpine and cross country ski set ups that are comparable in price to a rental package. There will also be a food drive/bake sake for the Thetford Food Shelf during that time. Winter sports begin for middle and school students on Monday, Nov. 27. Below is a schedule for the first two days of basketball and the first week of skiing and indoor track.
