TA News

Although it feels like spring has just arrived, it’s already time to start planning ahead for next school year! The Counseling Department has been hosting sessions for each of the grades to guide students through the planning process and provide instruction on the high school course registration steps. We invite parents and caregivers to be a part of this process with their student. Below are more details and resources – most of which have also been shared via our student and parent email lists.

Course registration is an opportunity for students and families to reflect on academic goals, post-secondary plans, possible pathways through high school, and how the opportunities at TA and our partner programs can engage and challenge each student.

Counseling presentation & course registration kickoff dates:

• Class of 2024 – Class Meeting on April 14
• Classes of 2025 & 2026 – Class Meeting on April 18
• Class of 2027 (current TA 8th graders) – Class Meeting on May 3
• Class of 2027 – Online Evening Session, May 3, 6pm (open to new and current 8th graders and families)

Deadlines for course registration form to be submitted:

• Class of 2024 – Deadline of May 1 (note the extension!)
• Classes of 2025 & 2026 – Deadline of May 5
• Class of 2027 – Deadline of May 12
