High School Cross-Country: Fun Runs are every Tuesday, starting June 12, on the Dan Grossman Woods Trail at TA Arrive by for warm-up; the runs start at 6 p.m. sharp. I made my sign by burning the letters into the wood by hand. It took me a full 5 days of class to be able to finish the burning on the wood. I brought up my A block class to show them the sign. By Hugh O'Donnell For my capstone project, I decided to build off of my idea from the last capstone project I did in the fall and refurbish the fire pit in the outdoor classroom. The last fire pit I created was made of stacked stones, and I decided to create something a little more modern this time. The new firepit is made out of firebrick and mortar. It was routed on a CNC router, then it was stained, painted and sanded. I really like how it turned out.
