Counseling Office to Host College Info Night for Seniors Sept. 26

On Thursday at 6pm, TA’s Counseling team will host a virtual information night for seniors (and their families) thinking about college or planning to apply to college this fall.

The event is designed to provide an overview of the college application process and offer resources and tips for success. Topics will include: how to navigate the college application process, applying for financial aid, and identifying scholarship opportunities. Counselors will also share information for students considering a gap year or deferred enrollment.

The virtual event will also cover roles and responsibilities among the student, parent, and school counselor. Attendees will learn how schools evaluate applications, how colleges are approaching standardized testing this year, and the different kinds of financial aid and scholarship funding available to students.

The session will be interactive and include plenty of time for discussion and all questions are welcome and encouraged. Look for the meeting link and additional information on TA’s calendar.
