Fifteen TA Students Inducted into International Thespian Society

“I promise to uphold the aims and ideals of the International Thespian Society. I am a student of theatre and excellence is my ideal. I promise to perform my part as well as I can; to accept praise and criticism with grace; to cooperate with my fellow Thespians and work for the good of the troupe; and to share my love of theatre.”

Thetford Academy’s Drama department was proud to induct fifteen students into the International Thespian Society (ITS) last week. ITS is the only honor society for middle and high school theatre students in the United States, recognizing and rewarding student achievement in all aspects of theatre. Members are honored on a national level and gain access to opportunities and resources beyond their home school.

TA’s Vermont Troupe 12645, now in its second year, reflects the strength and dedication of TA’s theater program. As part of this global organization, Thetford students now have the opportunity to earn national recognition, participate in festivals and competitions, and join a community of over 2 million student thespians who have been inducted since ITS’s founding.

Congratulations to the following Thetford Academy students, officially inducted into ITS in a ceremony on Thursday, October 30, 2025.
