Dear TA Families,

I’m always amazed at how much is happening around here in the evenings and on weekends. Last Saturday, for example, our robotics team met at 5:40am and set off on a 2+ hour trip to York, Maine for an all-day competition. They came home later that evening with four trophies in hand and an exciting day of going up against lots of new teams. (They were the only VT/NH school represented.) Later that same morning, six members of the debate team and their coach Kristen Downey gathered at school and traveled as far in the opposite direction to Manchester, VT for a big first meet at Burr and Burton Academy. 

Of course, everyone in the play has been hard at work with extra weekend rehearsals this month. And while we are in between sports seasons, there’s been lots of ‘open gym’ time to get ready for basketball. Anderson Hall hardly rests!

It’s great to see students engaged beyond the school day, stretching to learn and apply themselves in new directions, pursuing their passions, honing their skills, feeling motivated with the adrenaline of performance and competition, connecting with each other and students from other schools, and hopefully having fun through it all.
