TA Artists to Exhibit at AVA Gallery

TA will once again have a full line-up of work on display in AVA Gallery’s high school exhibition. The 16th annual youth art show will be presenting works of art created by regional high school students who have been nominated by their art teachers.

The directive from AVA to Upper Valley arts faculty is to nominate works by high school students who show exceptional promise in a variety of creative disciplines – and TA teachers Karyn Neubauer and Curran Broderick did just that. They selected ten artists representing a range of media, including photography, painting, pastels, and pen and ink.

With a maximum of ten students per school, this year’s nominated artists from TA include:

  • Class of 2024: Harlequin Copeland, Nathan Harris, Sam LaPlume, Charlotte Willing, and Oliver Yukica
  • Class of 2025: Madisyn Freeman, Bianca Pulaski, Caroline Watts
  • Class of 2026: Calvin Powers, Twyla Weinstein

The exhibition opens with an awards celebration on January 19, 5-7pm and then will run from January 19-February 10, 2024. AVA Gallery is located at 11 Bank Street in Lebanon, NH.
