This weekend, Thetford Academy is excited to present the hit musical, Godspell. The show opens Friday evening at 7:00 p.m., with additional performances Saturday at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday at 3:00 p.m.  Originally written and performed in the 1970’s, Godspell has since been updated for a modern audience with contemporary references and exciting new musical arrangements.   Godspell was the first major musical theater work from three-time Grammy and Academy Award winner, Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Pippin, Children of Eden) – and it took the world by storm. Dear TA Families, Lots of gratitude to share, looking back at this full week: • For our amazing teachers and staff as we wrap up Teacher Appreciation Week.  • For our generous parents for their help providing goodies and flowers for the week. • For the hardworking students who provided service to their community on Wednesday, and, in turn, raised over $5,000 for an orphanage and school in Kenya. The Dental Trailer is here next week.Students can get their teeth cleaned and if they have cavities or need sealants the dentist provides that care. Please let Ellen know if you want your student seen. Please - check daily for deer ticks. Shower & wash clothes if you are out in tick territory. If a deer tick is attached to you for more than 24-36 hours, call your pediatrician & get a one-time antibiotic to prevent Lyme Disease. Every year, Thetford Academy invites our community to join TA for our Day of Giving. This year, we'll be celebrating on Wednesday, May 10. We invite you to "Make TA's Day" with a gift to our annual fund, supporting exciting opportunities for student learning, exploration, and challenge.
