This Saturday at 7 p.m. in the Martha Jane Rich Theater, TA students in the Fall Play class will stage their final performances of the semester. The performances, titled "In Our Own Words," will feature a trio of original short plays written by students as their final project. These plays were created using the process of "devised theatre," also sometimes referred to as "collaborative creation." In Our Own Words was developed entirely by students, who researched, compiled, and wrote their scripts based on contemporary issues affecting teens. With the NH/VT State championship scheduled for February 18, it's crunch time for TA's robotics teams. Over the two week winter break, campus was quiet, but the robotics shop was in full-swing. With the help of parent volunteers Karen MacPhee, Francine A'Ness, and Douglas Moody, students were able to access the shop for several hours a day over most of the break. There are four regular-season VEX Robotics meets coming up: Jan 7 in Bow, NH Jan 14 in Belmont, NH Jan 28 in Conway, NH Feb 4 in Northwood, NH TA will then head to the NH/VT State championship on Feb 18 at Manchester...

Regular season started this week for the Panthers, with the varsity girls basketball team coming out strong in their season opener v. White River Valley (32-30). The Valley News reported: "The Panthers, in Jolene Cadwell's debut as head coach, edged the Wildcats in a defensive battle." Junior Addie Cadwell led the Panthers' scoring with 8 points. The girls will play at home on Tuesday, December 20, v. Windsor. The boys varsity team opened the season at Oxbow, where they defeated the Olympians 51-29 . Students in TA's Social Justice in Action class will host a "Community Closet Swap and Shop" event on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at the Thetford Community Center. The event will feature live music, a bake sale, and a fun opportunity to clean your closet to help others.
