Thetford Academy’s indoor track team ended its season on a spectacular note with a number of terrific performances at the New England High School Indoor Track Championship meet at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston on February 28th.

The girls’ 4 x 200m relay team (Lilian Miller ’27, Lizzie Brown ’27, Aislin Peters ’27 and Leah Crossett ’27) lowered their own school record, finishing in 1:59.90. The boys’ 4 x 200m relay team (Emmett Terry ’26, Daniel Mann ’26, Owen Goodrich ’26 and David Thaxton ’26) raced to a 1:36.99 finish, the second-best time in school history, behind only the state record TA set last year, and Terry, Mann and Thaxton later combined with Ollie Emery ’27 to stop the clock at 3:44.52, the third-fastest time in school history.
