Regular season is wrapping up for the Panthers, and both the girls and the boys basketball teams are maintaining strong season records. The girls basketball team is currently ranked 3rd in the VPA's Division III (10-4). Last Tuesday, the Panthers fell to Windsor (56-42) for the second time this season, breaking an eight game streak of wins. On Saturday, they made a comeback in a home game vs. Lyndon (53-38), before falling to Div. II Spaulding this week (44-32). The Thetford Outdoor Program has planned another summer of exciting outdoor leadership adventures for 2023! Registration is now open for six different multi-day wilderness trips and experiences, including: paddling the Connecticut River, backpacking the Appalachian Trail, a "GLOW" experience for women (or anyone who identifies as a girl or woman always or sometimes) with hiking, rock-climbing, and more; a new "Vermont Adventure" providing a variety of local outdoor adventures; and a trail crew work experience maintaining and improving Thetford trails.
