TA's varsity baseball team had a banner season that took them all the way to the State finals. The top-seeded Panthers headed to Centennial Field on Sunday, June 13, with hopes of bringing home a championship banner for the first time in 35 years. With a 13-4 season record, the Panthers were in a strong position to take on competitor People's Academy (13-3-1). On Friday, June 11, Thetford Academy celebrated the graduation of the Class of 2021 in the school's 202nd commencement ceremony. Fifty-three TA seniors took the stage to mark the end of their high school career and the beginning of new endeavors as young adults. The event was held outdoors on TA's softball field (a Covid-19 adjustment) and featured several student speakers who reflected both on their time at TA and the future ahead. This Friday, June 11, Thetford Academy will celebrate the Class of 2021 in TA's 202nd annual commencement ceremonies. Friday is also the last day of school for all students and school will dismiss at noon after pod meetings and Class Day activities. The following is a detailed schedule of the day's events. On Saturday, May 29, the Panthers Track and Field teams headed to Windsor for the Division III State Meet to defend their 2019 state championship titles. With the cancellation of the 2020 season and the cancellation of indoor track this winter due to Covid, the team hopes were pinned on a strong performance in 2021. The Panthers did not disappoint.
