On Saturday, May 29, the Panthers Track and Field teams headed to Windsor for the Division III State Meet to defend their 2019 state championship titles. With the cancellation of the 2020 season and the cancellation of indoor track this winter due to Covid, the team hopes were pinned on a strong performance in 2021. The Panthers did not disappoint. Thetford Academy Drama is excited to announce two upcoming community performances of their one-act play, "Tracks,” by Peter Tarsi. The 40-minute existential drama, set in a subway station, explores the meaning of life and the impact of our everyday choices. A snapshot of the plot: "A group of strangers arrive at a subway station with limited personal belongings, and their watches have stopped.  Each character enters worried about their individual predicament, but as more people arrive, they come to realize that they all share an unthinkable secret." Has it been 10 years? 20? Are you ready to reunite with your class and relive your best high school memories? This summer, you can! The Thetford Academy classes of 2011 and 2001 have been hard at work planning reunion events for summer 2021. The Class of 2011 plans to host their ten-year reunion on August 7, 2021 at Thetford Academy. Reunion plans are being spearheaded by class president, Kara (Ciambra) Garrow. With less than one month left in the 2021-2022 school year, the Panthers are giving it their all. TA's spring sports--baseball, softball, and track and field--are back after last year's Covid-caused pause. It's clear the Panthers were ready and excited to return to their teams and events and make up for lost time. In baseball, the Varsity boys have had a strong season. Following last night's win versus Division II team U-32, they stand at 8-3 and second overall in Division III VPA rankings.
