On Monday, May 3, 2021, Thetford Academy’s Counseling Office hosted an information session for rising sophomores preparing to register for Fall 2021 courses. The event outlined what students need to do to stay on track to meet graduation requirements, the ins and outs of the online course registration, and a question and answer session with students. The event, led by Counseling Director Mark Pichette and School Counselor Molly Dugan-Sullivan, was recorded for students and families to use as a resource as they complete the course registration process. ...

Dear TA Families & Students, Spring is always a whirlwind time of year in a school, as we all aim to stay focused on teaching and learning in the present term, while simultaneously prepping for year-end events and the fall semester. It's like surfing two waves at once! We at TA are going have to learn how to share Scott Ellis. As many have heard by now, Scott was recently hired by the Aloha Foundation to be the director of the Ohana Family Camp, starting with this summer's season. This is a very exciting career move for Scott – it truly is his life-long dream job. Scott will retain his faculty position at Thetford Academy during the school year, and continue to teach TA's special interdisciplinary environmental studies and outdoor education course that he launched four years ago.
