On May 15, 2024, we'll will celebrate our 7th annual Day of Giving, exploring the deep roots and connections that have supported our students and programs for more than 200 years. The Panthers have launched their baseball and softball seasons and are wasting no time getting down to business. The varsity boys baseball team, reigning Division III state champions, opened their season with five decisive wins - including an impressive shutout vs. Windsor - before their first loss vs. Blue Mountain (3-10) on Saturday. The varsity roster includes one senior, Justin Robinson, and a deep bench of returning players. The annual middle school trip is a longstanding TA tradition, designed to build class community and provide students hands-on learning experiences in new places. It's been a few years, though, since our students have had the opportunity to travel together. This year's eighth grade team was determined to bring the tradition back from its pandemic pause and spent months planning a new travel experience for students - a three-day trip to Montreal, Quebec. Making summer plans? Good news, there is still time to register for a TOP Summer Leadership experience! Each summer, the Thetford Outdoor Program offers several opportunities for Thetford Academy students (and students from surrounding towns) to have immersive outdoor leadership adventures. This year, TOP is offering multi-day trips and camps including trail crew, garden camp, GLOW, canoeing the CT River, and an Adirondack's rock climbing trip.
