This update was originally sent by email to families on Feb. 2, 2022 At TA we have 5 new Covid cases thus far this week in grades: 11, 10, 9 and 8. Please consider your student a presumptive contact and have them do a Covid test if they develop: sore throat, runny nose, fever, cough, headache, change in taste or smell.We continue to have a stomach virus at TA, please remind your student not to share water bottles, food etc. Students must be symptom free for 24 hours before returning to school.A friendly reminder when you call your child out sick,...

In the spring of 2020, an anonymous donor pledged to update all of the cardio equipment in the Hathorn Engelman Fitness Center. The generous gift was made, the donor shared, to honor the contributions of TA's longtime track and field coach Joel Breakstone. With the pandemic, it would be another year before TA's teams and fitness classes would be able to take full advantage of the new treadmills, stationary bikes, and more - and another six months before TA finally had the opportunity to celebrate the gift's honoree. Header photo: "Golden Hour" by Mary Bosco '24, which earned an Honorable Mention in the photography category at the AVA Gallery High School Exhibition. On Friday, the AVA Gallery in Lebanon launched its 14th annual High School Exhibition featuring artwork from high school students across the Upper Valley. Visual arts teacher Karyn Neubauer and Photography teacher Curran Broderick nominated nine of their students who showed "exceptional promise" for participation in the show. Dear TA Families, Here are some highlights to share with you as we wrap up the last week of January. Report Cards: On Wednesday students received their report card mailing for second quarter. Please take time this weekend to review it together, if you have not had a chance to do so yet. The mailing included a cover letter, the report card, and SBAC score reports from last spring for certain grades. This Health Office update was originally sent to families by email on January 27, 2022. Current cases:  We have had a total of five cases of Covid this week. The decrease in case counts compared with earlier weeks in January is an encouraging trend. We still need to be cautious as students continue to have contact with Covid in the community. Thanks to everyone, especially our students, for taking care of each other. The five positive Covid cases this week were in grades 7, 9, and 12.
